Kilimanjaro Cement Company Limited is a new entrant in to the Tanzanian
market. Launched in June 2017 and in order to meet its business needs,
we are looking for the following personnel to be based at Tanga.
Shortlisted candidates who are from Tanga / Arusha region would be
interviewed in Tanga. Candidates from other regions would be interviewed
in Dar es Salaam.
Job Position: Manager Mining
Responsibilities
• Mining with First Class Managers Certificate of Competency registered under the Mining board of Tanzania
• Essential experience in quarry management in open cast mechanized mines preferably attached to cement plants.
• Responsible for all mining activities, (Production, safety, Development, Statutory etc.)
• Responsible for mine planning including development activities.
• Projections, planning are and Implementation of
• Targets for Timely execution of Completion of Work.
• Responsible for Shift Operations
• Should have experience in handling all mining related works, allocation of manpower, materials & machine as per need of mines.
• Resource planning, preparation & maintenance of mines plans, safety resources, providing training to machine operator.
• Possess Excellent Communication, Analytical and Inter-Personal Skills.
• Should have hands on experience in surface mining and blasting techniques
• Devise blasting techniques to increase production yield

• Bachelor of Engineering in Mining with 5 + years of experience in Mining operations, preferably Lime Stone Mines. Experience in Handling Miners, Mining Machinery, & Safety operations

Job Position: PLC Engineer
Responsibilities:
• Willing to work in Shifts
• Excellence in safety and environmental performance on all assignments and projects
• Hands on Experience Siemens PLC and WINCC scada is an added advantage
• Key duties will be to undertake maintenance, repairs and improvements of the electrical, PLC trouble shooting,
• Responding immediately to equipment breakdowns and handling of all types of shift routine breakdown and preventative maintenance.
• An understanding of PLC systems and fault finding
• Hands on experience on Siemens, Allen Bradley will be preferred.
• Capable of reading electrical drawings with a good understanding of electrical control systems.
• Good knowledge in Ladder programming, logic control trouble shooting.
• Good knowledge in modification or prepare new program or 0ld PLC programs.

Job Position: Financial Controller
Responsibilities:
• Provide support to the Board of Directors and management team as needed.
• Plans, develops, organizes, implements directs and evaluates the Company's fiscal functions from every relevant perspective.
• Manage Finance and compliance functions with the necessary processes and internal controls to safeguard the corporate assets.
• Provides timely, accurate analysis of budgets and financial reports to assist the Board and other executives with their responsibilities. Oversee completion of timely annual audited financial statements.
• Manages budgeting and long term financial planning process.
• Provides strategic financial input issues affecting the Company (i.e., growth, new markets, and evaluation of potential alliances, employee benefits).
• Evaluates and advises on the impact of long-range planning, introduction of new programs/ strategies and regulatory interactions.
• Develops reliable cash flow projection process and reporting mechanism that includes minimum cash threshold to meet operating needs of the Company.
• Continually improves the timeliness and accuracy of the Company's cash flow and management of the billing and collections process and month end, quarterly and year end closings
• Oversees risk and Corporate insurance requirements.
• Coordinates with appropriate legal counsel relating to financial and corporate governance compliance and risk assessment matters.
• Developing organizational strategies, business plan, budgets, financial controls, risk mitigation plans etc. and align financial goals with organizations goals
• Managing company's financial performance, cash flow, liquidity, and profitability by balancing short & long term financial goals
• Monthly MIS schedule updates with P&L figure which
• Preparing Expense head wise schedules, put remarks for expense up or'd0~n reasoning.
• Prepares monthly Revenue MIS, Process wise billing schedule etc.
• Preparing individual schedule for SDL's wise Monthly P&L & Circulating mails.
• Scrutinizing Function wise cost Allocation.
• Monitoring the monthly GL reconciliation & ensuring posting of expenses in correct GL.
• Preparing Schedule based on the business needs & the requirement: like L&D spends, Employee
• Over time expense, -Transport charges etc.
• Preparation of Budgets for CAPEX, OPEX, EBITDA, EBITDA %, ROI, Timely Efficiency Ratio, Ratio Analysis
• Leading the Annual budgeting process
• Proficient in GAAP and WRS
